Playing Pitch
We began work on our playing pitch in 2020 starting with extensive groundworks including levelling and drainage.
It was seeded and left untouched for months for the grass to bed in with our first cut coming in June of 2021.
Fast forwards and we have installed two robotic lawnmowers to keep the grass tidy, safety nets by goals and two dugouts built on site.
The pitch itself was christened with its 1st soccer match on 26th April 2022 when Rylane Celtic played Blarney Street.
Since then, it has become a fantastic resource for our local community, as well as being a safe space for local children to play sports and have fun with their friends.
The following video shows just some of the incredible work that went into this project from start to finish.
